Job Overview:

Fols Kids SEN Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. As a Play Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and development of the children in our Saturday club. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN), to gain valuable experience in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care during both on-site and off-site activities.

  • Activity Facilitation: Work closely with the Play Leader to organise and facilitate a variety of engaging activities, offering diverse play experiences that cater to the needs and interests of the children.

  • Field Trips: Participate in termly field trips, playing a crucial role in maintaining safety and supporting the children in various activities.

  • Support: Assist children in achieving both group and individual targets, providing encouragement and guidance throughout each session.

  • Cleanup: Contribute to the cleanup and organisation of the play area at the end of each session, ensuring a safe and tidy environment.

Working Hours:

  • Time: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM every Saturday during term time, based on rota allocation.

  • Minimum Requirement: 2 hours per session.
